So yesterday, after work, I ran for the first time.  This would be running for exercise.  I haven't run on purpose for 17 years now.  I've always been kinda scared of it because I feel like a total tard doing it.  But mostly I'm scared because of my knee and the ACL replacement.  Well, I did it and it was fine.  Amazingly I had no problems whatsoever with my knee afterwards.  And I didn't get jeers from others when I ran by.  I felt pretty good afterwards.  To get going though was kinda tough.   When I started I was like, “Um, this is freaking hard.”  “How am I supposed to keep this up?”  So what I did is ran two sections and walked two then alternated like that the whole time.  I managed to just run/walk for 30 min.  I hated the idea of the alternating thing because I think of Skating and music when it comes to keeping things going.  In skating, even if I'm slow I should keep to form and keep going.  In music, even if I mess up the notes I should keep with the beat even if messing up the notes in between.  But the run/walk thing was the only way I could do it without completely starting.  So far, this morning, my legs don't feel sore, but they do feel used.

I managed to water the plants and do some weeding with the rest of the daylight after the run.  I'm excited to say that the plum tree has the tiniest of white flowers blooming on it and the leaves are filling in quite nicely.  Dill took off like a champ.  I finally planted the succulent type variety.  Wild Lime is severely thorny.  And clover hadn't taken too well to the west side of the flower bed.

Tonight is May Moon and I haven't planned anything.  After all that junk after work I ended up sewing for an Isis costume.  I can't remember if it needed to be done by Fest (three weeks) or not.  But I don't want to be behind on it.

Augh, there's so much to do.  And I really don't have the time to write like I want to.  Later perhaps.
