One rap for 'yes'. Two raps for 'no'.

NYC weekend was such a blast! Thanks to AMAZING peeps + AMAZING shows + an AMAZING city.

Saturday:
* Bus arrives 40 minutes earlier than scheduled after fretting that it would arrive late. Oops.
* Student rush w/ Lyndsey so that she could score a ticket for Guys & Dolls at the Nederlander. SO COLD.
* Penn Station for Heather & Liz pick-up. I have the best friends. Period. Don't deny it.
* Lunch at Saigon 48. DELICIOUS. ($78 in one-dollar bills + tats + "republican")
* 33 Variations with Heather & Liz. Jackass protesters. Wine. JFo! Play leaves you thinking. Phyllida Lloyd sighting!
* YMCA check-in. Drinks at Applebee's. Caramel appletini. Bra flashing. Digital molestation. CRAZYYYYYYYY.
* Blithe Spirit was all sorts of hilarity. Mainly wanted to see Angela, but absolutely adored the rest of the cast too. Funny flubbage. Ebersole songs played during intertitles. Christine Ebersole + Angela Lansbury (something about feathers? IDK, Ange, but I still heart you) signed the playbill. SCORE. Barbara Babcock sighting.
* 24 hour Starbucks with Heather. People certainly have some strange dunking habits. One-liners = ZE BEST.

Sunday:
* Lunch at Blockheads with Heather, Lyndsey, and Jenn. DELICIOUS. Much talk of Boeing Boeing & Patti LuPone. FTW.
* Post-lunch travels to Starbucks. We're just that cool, yo.
* Final performance of Pal Joey. Stockard & Martha blow my mind. Meet both at stage door, thanks to Heather's directions. Brooke Shields sighting.
* Hike to grab spot at stage door for 33 Variations. Colin Hanks (son of Tom) smokes cigarette waiting for last entrance. I try not to look as if I'm paying attention. He goes back in, immediately pops his head back out, and jokingly says "You didn't see that." "No, Colin, you're safe!"
* Christine Lahti & Gloria Steinem go back to booze it up with JFo for an hour. Colin Hanks exits & signs playbill. Wait forever for JFo, but do see Moises Kaufman, pianist, and 'Beethoven', etc. Finally, Jane, Christine, Gloria, and Tulea come out. She's complete with shades at damn near 7pm. Diva. LOVE HER. Signs playbill. Yells at annoying autograph hounds behind us. HELL TO THE YES. Fun times, indeed.
* Port Authority bus terminal. Pizza & pop. Bus it back to B-lo on time. (Skip 9am French for more sleeps...)
