Ze gourmet chefs (Teresa, Katrina, and moi) actually pulled it off. We prepared & served a 5-course French cuisine for 36 people last Saturday. In the process we covered each other with flour, chocolate, cocoa powder, and hot zucchini soup. SO MUCH FUN. The menu consisted of:
1. Salad (w/ romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, goat cheese, and vinaigrette dressing)
2. Cream of zucchini soup (pureed w/ onions & dill weed)
3. Roasted duckling & chicken (topped w/ cream sauce & mushrooms) + couscous (w/ herbs) + ratatouille
4. Baguettes (w/ butter) + brie, roquefort, and camembert cheeses
5. Lemon tart (w/ blackberries + blueberries) + chocolate truffles
*** all served with sparkling grape juice, as it was a family party ***
