The best word to describe my spring break...
BLAH.
Dinesh and Steven are out of town, it looks like Islands of Adventure plans are being flushed down the toilet, and I've got some school work to start diving into. sigh.
Things are pretty lonly here at my apartment. After work yesterday Matias stopped by, which was pretty cool. We had an excellent conversation while we played Contra on PS2 and got plastered drunk on Budweiser, Quilmes, and J.D. Tenessee Whiskey. At one point, as we were smoking cigarette's outside, we could here 2 people going at it from across the neighborhood. Lucky bastard. I have to applaud him though, because she was fucking loud. Other then that, though, I've been pretty bored, lonly, and depressed around here.
Also, I had one of those dreams last night that brought me back to the past. Back to a happier time, before I fucked everything up with my paranoia and selfishness. Not that things are all that bad now, but it helps me to realize where I fuck things up. I'm way too much of a perfectionist when it comes to the things that really mean something to me. A slight deviation can turn into a paranoid tantrum that can completely alter the way I deal with things. I'll try to learn from these things as I sit patiently waiting for my next chance. I'm beginning to think, though, that it's going to be a long while before another person, who is everything I want, comes around. They seem to be a rare breed.
