"I'm a sinner and God's a pervert"
Something I noticed about myself lately:
While I am a good worker and I don't bitch unless I'm getting treated like total shit, I'm not good at dealing with authority figures. Sometimes I feel uncomfortable around my bosses and have trouble communicating with them. However, on the flip side, I think I make a very good authority figure myself. I feel really confident as a sup!erior and have found it extremely easy to train people. I always get along with people that I train, and they almost always feel comfortable around people. What this tells me is that I'd probably make a really good teacher. Which isn't what I want to do with my life, but at least I know it's a good option if I ever change my mind.
Also, I've noticed that people hardly ever give me shit. People that I work with, even those who are known for being total assholes, never really bitch at me. I feel as though people always want to get on my good side, even if I don't really try to get on theirs. I see the assholes bitching at other people who are just as calm and down to earth as I am, but it's never me. I'm not sure why this is yet, but I'm going to try to analyze the situation and figure it out anthropology style by looking at behavioral trends.

2 conflicting genetic interests
a) One set of genes that thrives in women are the genes to find men who are extremely sexually active. This gene thrives because the women who carry this gene and who reproduce with these types of males will be more likely to have sons who will be able to reproduce with many women and therefore will spread the gene. So, these genes are very effective.
b) A different set of genes that are highly effective in females are those genes that instruct the female to find a male who will help to raise her kids. These genes are good for a female because in the ancestral world a woman without the help of a male would have much more trouble trying to raise her offspring. Without male support many of her children might die from lack of nutrition. So the genes for finding a supportive father figure are also in large numbers in the female population.
Conclusion:
This is the reason why so many chicks end up finding guys who are assholes and why they try to stay with them and "train" them.
