An uncle of mine isn't coming to the wedding in October. His eldest son is graduating high school this year and they've opted to take a cruise "to celebrate mediocrity" as another uncle puts it. Even though all the times I talked to him, he always talked about how excited he was to be coming out here. My mother thinks it's because their kids aren't invited. As I told my father, if it were anyone else in the family, I might actually be hurt but this behavior is pretty much par for the course for this paticular uncle. Everyone else is going to be there and it's going to be a bitchin' good time.
