I ganked this from tsutsuji and she got it from starrose17! I don't often talk about my anime/manga fixation here on this journal, but rest assured, I'm still very into it. Of course, I am pretty much behind on all of my favorite series right now because I am trying to watch all of Doctor Who, but I'll catch up with everything eventually. I hope.
Your first favorite anime character? Do you have a picture?
Inuyasha is the one that got me hardcore into anime in the first place, so I would say he was my first. Awwww.

Why do you like him/her?
He's kind of hot, he's stubborn, he has a big sword, and he can kick serious demon ass. And hell, he's voiced by Kappei Yamaguichi, who makes growling so sexy.
Name your favorite eye-hair color combination.
Like, in real life? I always wished I had red hair and green eyes when I was growing up. I guess that's it. I like hazel eyes a lot, too.
Does an anime character fit that color combination?
No idea. Probably.
Name your most hated anime character.
I hate those little Gushoshin from Yami no Matsuei (Descendants of Darkness), mostly because the voices kill me. I also dislike Edward Elric's father, Honenheim, from Fullmetal Alchemist because he's a big jerk, abandoning his kids to spend eternity body-swapping. Oh! And Ayanami from 07-Ghost, because he's evil and he tortured Mikage by trying to make him betray Teito.
If you could do anything to him/her, what would you do?
I would make the Gushoshin have less annoying voices so I could handle it when they're on screen. Honenheim and Ayanami should get what's coming to them, like a total negation of their evil plans.
What was the first anime you watched?
I don't remember if this was the first, but the one I first remember vividly loving and rewatching is Iria: Zerium the Animation. It's also the first one I bought, on VHS.
Name your favorite anime, and state why.
I have a lot of favorites, but I think Get Backers is my favorite because Ban and Ginji have such a strong, amazing friendship (and a very easily slashy one!). I also kind of like that it's not a "save the world" plot, though it does get trippy I hear (the manga has stopped being published so I only have hearsay to go on). After that, it would have to be Kyo Kara Maoh. I wish they would bring the third season out on DVD already.
Do you prefer shonen or shojo anime?
Probably shonen, because they tend to have less magical girl storylines, which I can't seem to get into for some reason (or at least, they're not my favorite), but I have found some shojo series I like, like Fruits Basket.
Which anime character influenced you in some way or changed your mindset?
Well, Inuyasha taught me about fandom in general (also fan fiction), back in the day. It also taught me not to buy DVDs from eBay unless I know what I'm getting. (Oops!)

And Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji. Also, Guren from Shonen Onmyoji. And Akabane from Get Backers -- he is my favorite villain of all time. OMG, and I totally forgot about Mai and Naru from Ghost Hunt. Mai is one of the other only female characters I love, after Shurei.
What superpowers does 6 have?
The ability to turn into the cat left out of the Chinese Zodiac, which actually isn't a good thing. Also, a fearsome temper.
Would you like to date 9?
I guess. She's a little too girly for me but I like her can-do attitude. I'd probably pick a woman who is more butch, though.
What would be a typical birthday gift from 3?
God forbid, something well-meaning but totally inappropriate, like a demon's severed head, or he'd try to do something nice for me but destroy all my possessions in the meantime.
Where would 7 bring you out on a date?
Since he's in love with someone else, and since he's a schemer, it probably wouldn't be much. He'd probably "forget" and then make me feel like it's my fault.
Is 1 studious/clever?
Both Ban and Ginji are clever in different ways, for sure. Ban used to be studious as a child, it seems like, but now not so much. I'd say Ginji is the more thoughtful one now, but he's also gullible and kind of dumb in many cases, so Ban has the edge on studious here.
Which one describes 4 the best: quiet/energetic/cute/handsome/plain/talented/arrogant/sexy/thoughtful? (And only one!!)
Only one? I would definitely say Break is "arrogant".
What color do you think fits 8?
Brown. It's humble and simple and functional, like Kenshin himself.
Does 10 play any musical instruments?
I don't remember if Ed plays any in the show and I don't think he had time to learn in his childhood, but I could see him at the piano for some reason, if he could sit still long enough. He has the ability to apply himself.
How heroic is 2?
Murata is more of a schemer, too (I think nearly all of my favorite characters are schemers), so I don't know how heroic he is in the typical use of the word. Not that I think he wouldn't risk his life for Yuri, but I think he would arrange it so other people risked their lives first.
If 5 died what would you do?
Um...stop watching? That would be a horrible plot point.
