When she told him she was in the us, he drove overnight to go see her. He stopped to buy her flowers, and the southern lady who sold it to him gave him a huge bouquet that was big enough to be a funeral flowers display. When she got to the restaurant, he was trying to hide it or make it look like it was the restaurant’s, because it looked ridiculous.
They only talked online after that for two full years, but they talked all the time, before seeing each other again.
He said he loved her when he was drunk on the phone one night. She told him I’m not the kind of girl you call drunk to tell her you love her. If you really love me, you have to say it to my face.
So he bought a plane ticket and got a rental car and picked her up and said, “So... I love you.”
When he proposed, he went to Mexico and told her he’s been all around the world (which is true), and she’s the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen.
They got married in a barn up here, and had a ceremony at her hometown. They live here now and are hoping to get a house.

Haha. All "Spanish" ( whatever Spanish speaking country they are from) women are like that, and it is heavily appreciated. I admit. I did the same exact thing. Called her drunk and told her I loved her. Haha. Good memories
