I come bearing This Tiny Office's Question of the Day!
[Though, this one might prove a bit list-oriented]
What song's covers do you enjoy more than the original?
Some of mine:
Cake - Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps
Cake - I Will Survive
Holly Cole - Tango 'Til They're Sore
Indigo Girls - Tangled Up in Blue
[Okay, pretty much EVERYONE doing Dylan.]
Concrete Blonde - Everybody Knows
Dead Souls - Trent Raznor
Hurt - Johnny Cash
I should state that this question came about because we were listening to Donovan's "Season of the Witch", and agreed that no cover of that song comes even close to the awesomeness of the original.
How about you?
