A couple of recent posts on the droll - including a lovely retelling of
How Coyote Stole the Fire by - got me thinking about tricksters and how prevalent they seem to be in these parts. I am, of course, very interested in them myself [/understatement]. Being a curious bird, I thought the topic required some pollifying.

Anansi and Loki and Puck and The Fae and the crows and the leprechauns and the coyote and the EVERYTHING.
The Native American Tricksters hold a special place in my heart. Also does Loki (I studied Asatru and Norse Mythology in 9th grade... made mother nervous.)
I approve of all things Trickster!
Sometimes, when the sun is rising you can just feel Kokopelli playing on Camelback Mountain and the mischief just starts *rolling* in.
I think that's why I like the Southwest, So much Culture and Just... its a bit Magical down here sometimes.

ETA: I was going to say, most of the others I like are literary based, rather than mythology. With the exception of Hermes. ^__^
Cake for breakfast is always acceptable, yes! :D (Except before 9am, because I had some icing from cake in our breakroom this morning at 5:30am with my tea - I figured I'd need the sugar - and was doubled over with a sore stomach for a large amount of my shift. D: Happened before with an orange, but I thought it was just too citrusy for an empty stomach. /o\)
