Oh man. You. I've read that scene of Bob meeting Mikey again so many times now and each time I get all teary-eyed. There's just something about him finally meeting his people again after being alone for so long hat just gets to me. And Mikey's easy acceptance, and knowing straight away and Bob not letting him have any guilt, and just. Yes.
I love them together so much. Flailing over that done now. I really love the changes that you've made. The sense of history and the things that have happened before, rooting Bob more clearly in the present and how he got there.
Love the new Brian and The Used stuff, and all the Route Guano remains made of so much awesome. It adds such a layer of spookiness to the verse, like there's so many things wandering that people just don't see.
And Bob, taking pleasure in killing one of his guards, and that whole escape that has me on the edge of my seat as I was willing Bob on. I do really like how you emphasised that kill,. it makes a lot of sense.
Also, my heart broke yet again when he realised he was alone after being captured.
That ends this back to front comment, but I had to talk about that Mikey and Bob scene first because you know how much I love it.
