So apparently my measuring by eye skills remain accurate. That was indeed TWO FEET of snow that the weather gods dropped on the Queen City over Sunday/part of Monday. Outside of my wee city's weirdo micro-climate they got six inches to a foot more, depending. The last time we got this much snow, this late was Feb. 14, 2007. The newspaper's making WORSE MARCH STORM on record EVER noises.
Knowing the stats makes me feel much better about the hour long shoveling adventure I experienced this afternoon. I don't know why, but it does.
Also, the number of marigold seedlings doubled in one day.
They all say \o/.
