All I can see is the cogs and sprockets that make it up, it's a giant machine on the edge of the universe, with little men that look like Einstein running around in it.

I have no idea what the Whirligig of Time is of does, but it's a pretty funny word! sounds like some sort of a dance =D

I'm not sure what Whirligig means either, though I've heard pinwheels referred to as whirligig's before. A dance would make sense - it's a very active sounding word, after all.

Whirlig? It sounds like a very tightly coiled something, like the spirall on a shell or the bud of a fern before it unfolds. I like it :)
