Today might possibly be the sleepiest Monday in history.

It seems like *everyone* is dragging and stupid with lack of sleep today. People who are normally perky are walking around with their eyes half closed. It's a little disturbing.

And I am pager girl, once again. Completely assignment-free.

My eyes are crossing. I really want to curl up in a dim ( Read more... )

As you wish. A random link that might spark off a story.

Wow, that is really bizarre and cool.

If it doesn't spark off a story [and that's pretty likely, considering that Tempestt is dictating her travel journals to me for august_writing], it will most assuredly spark some art.

Happy corkcrews prompt smiles - abeit sleepy ones :) - so they are wlecome.

YOU SOLD THE HOUSE ??!!!!!!!!
OMG, Susie that's the best news! There aren't enough happy corkscrews in the WORLD to express the joy that news carries. I'm so excited for you. *hugs and twirls you*

And that Hello Kitty article is hysterical. I can see the 'macho' police men with their pink armbands... heh.

It's a rainy, lazy Monday here. I'm enjoying it while I can. :)

*hands over coffee*

Maybe not fascinating, but random information:
Almonds are members of the peach family.

The symbol on the "pound" key (#) is called an octothorpe.

The maximum weight for a golf ball is 1.62 oz.

*loves your icon*

Even though it's not rainy here today - it is, in fact, beautiful - but it *feels* like it is. I'm glad that you are enjoying the general vibe for the rest of us. :D

Woo hoo! Coffee! Thank you.
*cradles mug happily in my hands*

Oh, random info is exciting too. Octothorpe is such a cool word - that alone makes my day. I don't know that peaches and almonds are related [though I guess it does make sense]. Are plums of the same family?

Thank you for playing!

Thank you. Credit goes to justaredherring who also made this one. :)

It's a gray, cold, dreary day. My absolute favorite kind. :D (but I might me a touch odd)

*hands over more coffee* Fresh pot. Because it's this or tea and I'm not in the mood for tea.

I don't know about plums, but I'll try to find it out.

You're welcome. It was fun. Want more random facts?

Nutmeg is extremely poisonous if injected intravenously

Charlie Brown's father was a barber.

A donkey will sink in quicksand but a mule won't.

Cranberries are sorted for ripeness by bouncing them; a fully ripened cranberry can be dribbled like a basketball.

Both those coffe icons are marvy. :)

Oh, I like grey days too... as long as there's the occasional sunny day for variety.

mmmmmmm coffee. I am very happy. Thank you.
You needn't find out about the plums; I was really just wondering aloud.

Random facts are always fun. ravgonfly is Queen of Random Facts,so they tend to invoke a cozy, warm fuzzy feeling in me. :D

OOoo! I knew the Nutmeg one!

I suppose mules are too stubborn to sink in quicksand. Either that, or it's a super power.

Dribbling cranberries! That's the cutest mental picture.

Thank you :) *hugs*

I hear you! my 9 years old slept until 7 this morning even with everyone else up in the house, the world might end today (he's usually up at the crack of dawn)

I read a nice blurb on clever crows this morning! :)

*sleepily hugs back*

(sorry for messed up comment before!)

(Don't worry about the messed up comment - LJ is being poky releasing my notifications, so it will be awhile before I see it.)

You know, it's possible that your young gent was just sympathy sleeping for the world - it seems like insomnia is the rule as opposed to the exception right now, but the sleep has to go *somewhere*. You can thank him for me. :)

Nice article! Reading that sort of thing always makes me proud of the soot- feathered gang. :) The only thing I find surprising about that topic is the continuing surprise of the 'experts' regarding Corvid intelligence. Black birds are *smart*.

Since we are both sleepy, maybe we really should take a nap...

I watched this docummentary on Gabon last night and they showed this amazing national park where elephants and hippos and these weird wild boars (I swear, they were red heads and hairy. The looked like a wild boar version of those Scottish cows, or maybe a Jersey one with looong hair) walked over to the beach and played in the ocean. It was absolutely amazing.

I need to draw a new card for today. Last week's was the Princess of Swords, Venus in the air houses or signs, all aggressive nervousness.

Uh, I'm no good at thinking of exciting, bounce-worthy, waking you up things. I did the laundry? I'm going to go for a walk? call my doctor?

*tickles you*

Oh I don't know - I think that a safari holiday, complete with long-haired scottish boars is pretty exciting. I *love* the idea of elephants playing in the tide...

I did a tarot reading on my birthday, one with 13 positions, from August to August. This is something of a tradition of mine. Anyway... this month is the six of cups, reversed, with the page/princess of pentacles, reversed as a modifier. This month has proven difficult in unexpected ways...

Walks, laundry and doc calls are all *quite* bounce-worthy, my love. *squishes you tight*

*squirms away from your tickling*
*pounces*
*starts to tickle behind your knees*

Going on Safari is a dream of mine, and I know someone that works there almost half of the year as well and has offered to meet me in Kenya..and yet, I'm still afraid to travel there alone.

You do tarot readings..I should have you do mine..but is it possible for every card to say, "You have no future and stop wasting my time?" *smile*

I'll be back with something fun!

I *know* I'd be afraid to travel to Africa alone - but such an adventure would be marvelous. Can you get directly to your friend, or would you have to travel through a bunch of Africa to get there?

Yup, I do readings. I've never tried to do a sooper dooper long distance reading before, though. I'm slightly baffled by the logistics...but I'm willing to try. :)

And NO that kind of a spread is only possible in a Neil Gaiman book.
*rolls eyes at you*
