Poetry Fishbowl Report for June 3, 2014

Jun 14, 2014 15:02

This month's theme was "first contact."  I worked from 11:30 AM to 3:30 AM, so about 14 hours allowing for breaks.  I wrote 19 poems on Tuesday and another 5 later.  Many of them were medium-length again, although this time there were also a lot of epics.  It was about evenly mixed between series and stand-alone poetry, with a few form poems amidst the free verse.

Participation was up, with 43 comments on LiveJournal and another 28 on Dreamwidth.  Please welcome new prompters moriwen1 and DW user Kshandra.  You have them to thank for the second freebie.
