Category: Fiction.
Summary: K.A. Web writes a great variety of material divided into collections. Most are fantasy, but there are some science fiction, contemporary, and other genres. See the word count as of January 2014; the new content tallies 342,878 words. This author offers a LOT of different crowdfunding options.

My favorite collections include Afterlife, Donor House, Pagans, and World Walkers. There is an ongoing serial, "The Case of the Counterfeit Enchantments," with expansion perks if people comment, promote, or donate. Nomination: "Prompt Call" ysabetwordsmith January 13 2014, 20:39:54 UTC
Project Title: "Prompt Call"
Creator Name: DW user sharpeningthebones

http://sharpeningthebones.dreamwidth.org/912.html
Category: Fiction.
Summary: This project has the interesting feature of encouraging three-part prompts; for example an asexual main character, a setting in a rural town, and a theme that involves something being overcome. You get a sample of the story, and donations make it longer.
