"Baby stuff" is a magnet cause, right up there with pets as something that people will pimp and donate heavily for. However, I've noticed that even in my Poetry Fishbowl, it's not rare for people to sponsor a poem prompted by someone else -- either because they just like the thumbnail description, or the prompter loved it but couldn't afford to sponsor it personally.

Yes, time is a major issue. The last additions to my Poetry Fishbowl were popular but time-consuming; I've had to look for ways of streamlining those. Try to find ways to stay focused on painting during your project, and arrange someone else or some other time for the other stuff.

Maybe you could get a mail organizer or paper-storage rack. Those have lots of small flat slots where you could lay out a lot of ACEOs to dry, and the units stack vertically so the footprint is small. And a cat wouldn't fit into them, though you might need to screen off the front of the rack.

Plain rather than animated would be less work, although the animations are gorgeous. Also consider the visibility factor: if people USE these, that could really bump the project's visibility.
