Last year I wrote "
5 Tips for Crowdfunding Success" to help people create effective projects that are easy to network. Those were inspired by seeing some otherwise promising projects where a missing piece made it hard to promote.
This year, I've updated the article with a couple more tips. You should put your byline (which can be a pseudonym) on your project, and you should give people an easy way to reach you.
There were a couple projects that I thought about nominating for the Rose & Bay Award, but wound up skipping because I couldn't find a name on them. Then when I went to notify nominees for the Webcomic category that the voting page is up, so they could share that with their audience, I couldn't find contact info for all of them.
