Evey, had arrived only mere minutes before V did, yet was already by the castle doors. The small women moved fast once the helicopter landed, she wasn’t quite sure what was going on other then the note she thought she got from V. She getting ready for the fifth and how that day would change her life in more ways then one, when the note was slipped under her door. Of course she thought it was V who slipped her the note but he was nowhere in sight when she opened up the door. That was like V though, very mysterious and able to make himself hidden. Of course Evey would follow the directions on the note, she’d do just about anything for V.

At first, when Evey got out of the helicopter, she looked for him. She expected that he would be waiting there to show her whatever it was that he wanted to, but he wasn’t there. So she made her way to the castle. She could only guess that he was inside putting together whatever it was that he wanted to show her, she didn’t understand why he would send her here on a night like tonight, unless…”No,” Evey said to herself as she thought the unthinkable. What if V was planning to die in the end and this was his way of sending her someplace safe. She would never forgive herself for getting on that helicopter if that was the case.

Evey pulled out the neatly folded piece of paper from her pocket and unfolded it. She re-read the note several times, “please V.” Evey, folded the note and placed it back in her pocket. She was about to turn and go inside the castle when she heard someone apoarching. Evey stood straight and waited for whoever it might be, the night was dark and she could barely make out the figure. But then all of a sudden out of the moonlight she could see the white mask, the Guy Fawkes mask that V wore emerging from the shadows. That was all she could make out for awhile as V was in his usual black attire.

“V!” Evey said as she ran up to the masked man. “I came like you asked, what is this place?”

V could have almost sworn he heard... wait. No, that was... Evey! V nearly recoiled in surprise when he saw her, at first thinking she was bait, but then realizing that she was misled just as he was. She couldn't be bait, otherwise they'd both be dead by now. "Like... I asked?" he said, murmuring what she had just asked him, tilting his head slightly so that his hat was lopsided.

V thought for a moment. Whoever had them both come to this area was clearly more manipulative than V himself was... and even worse, knew their connection. It couldn't have been Norsefire... no, whoever summoned them both to this castle was much more malevolent then Sutler or Creedy ever could be. "... Ah! There should be no combination of events for which the wit of man cannot conceive an explanation!" V said, raising his eyes to the castle when he quoted Sherlock Holmes, suddenly filled with enthusiasm. "Dearest Evey, we were called here for a reason, but the answer to whether or not the reason is one of malicious deceit or opportunity has yet to present itself."

V walked past Evey and opened the doors to the castle. "Come! Omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and in miseries." V said gleefully, stepping through the doors, and striding into the castle, as if he were on vacation.

Evey was taken back a bit when V seemed to have no recollection of asking her to come here. Could it have really been a trap? How did they know about her where abouts as well as V's. It all made sense though, in a way, Evey didn't feel like it was V who asked her to come when she got into the helicopter. It just didn't seem like him to trust another individual with flying her to a castle, she knew that he had the means to arrange something like that, but still it just didn't seem like him. She really did think that she was going to find out that the pilot was V but when she realized it wasn't, she started to second guess this whole thing.

"Do you think it was Sutler?" Evey asked as she followed V inside the castle. In the old days she would've been scared but fear was no long an option for the petite women. Also, she felt safe with V around, she knew that he wouldn't let anything happen to her.

The inside of the castle was amazing, it was unlike anything she’d seen before. “Reminds me of some of those movies you’ve shown me.” Evey missed those earlier days with V, life seemed so much more simple back then for her, despite the fact she was kept there against her will. She now wished she could go back, knowing what she knows now and really appreciate the time she had in the Shadow Gallery

V said nothing as he entered, and despite absolutely adoring the atmosphere around him, he did remain vigilant. He seriously doubted that this could have been Sutler, however... if Norsefire knew that Evey and V were so close, why go through all of the trouble to lure them all of the way out here? "I don't believe so, Evey. This is far too elaborate of a plot for Creedy, much less Sutler, to piece together." No... really, this sounded more like something V himself would have done.

The interior architecture was quite unique, and it stood out from the other castles England had, as few and far-between as they are. In fact, V didn't even know that this castle existed prior to this... how was that possible?

V then turned in the direction of a small table. "Look, Evey!" he said enthusiastically, rushing towards it. On it was a small note, upon which the words "For V and Evey" were written with what appeared to be a sharpie. Next to the piece of paper were two identical cell-phone like devices. Surely this had to be a trap, as well. "I don't smell cyanide on them..." he mused quietly to himself, picking up one of them. Flipping it open, there appeared to be different dials for radio frequencies.

V was right, there was no way this could be Creedy or Sutler and that scared Evey. Who would go through all this trouble just go get them to some strange castle. None of it made sense at all, then again most of Evey's life didn't make sense and the world they lived in sure didn't make much sense either, the way people were treat - it was horrible.

Evey moved over to where the phones were and looked down at them. Once V picked up a phone, Evey picked up the other one and flipped it open as well. She saw the scene that had a spot for four numbers, "it seems it needs some sort of code." She began to punch in different numbers but got nothing. "Why would they give us a phone that we can not use?" She looked up to V.

V toyed with the small device for a few more seconds, and then slipped it into his pocket. "Someone called us here, Evey. I have told you that I, like God, do not play with dice or the belief in coincidence. Whoever called us here must be within these walls."

Without waiting for Evey to reply, he started off at a brisk pace to the stairs. Someone had to be here... surely, someone had to be here. V looked side to side, and up the stairs, and then shook his head. "I have mixed feelings... what awaits us must be either the most devious of tricksters, or someone who seeks our deaths." V normally would normally never bat an eyelash at the thought of someone wanting them dead, but he had never faced anyone who wasn't associated with Norsefire before. He was nervous, not because he felt he would be outmatched, but because he wasn't sure what to expect. Norsefire was predictable and was prone to underestimating him, but he had no idea what had called him here... and whoever it was, they had known him well enough to know what he and Evey were close, and absolutely no one else knew that. For the first time since he was first brought to the concentration camp... he was actually afraid.

Kara opened the door to the parlour she'd been looking through and stepped out into the hall, running straight into a tall man in a cape... and a mask. Or what she really hoped was a mask.

"Sorry," she said, though she wasn't especially sorry at all. She glanced at the woman with him and gave her a little nod. "Just arrived?" Kara guessed. From the looks of the woman, she knew she was right - she looked too eager to have learned anything about the castle as of yet.

It made sense what V said, whoever had brought them here had to be somewhere within the castle. Evey didn't like that thought at all; the thought of someone just waiting for them.

Evey followed V over to the stairs, "then let's hope it was a trickster" Evey commented in a clam voice. She knew that panic and fear would not help the situation at all.

"Have you thought, that maybe whoever this is, wanted your plan to fail? It is the day before the fifth and the whole country knows." If V was stuck here at this castle then there was no way his plan could work and the government would once again win.

Just then Evey heard a door open and out came a women, she ran right into V. "Yes." Evey looked to V, this couldn't be who brought them here, could it?

V recoiled when the door was open, not out of surprise, but of the disbelief that this woman could have been who brought them here. When V regained his composure, he tilted his head to the side again, examining the woman. While she was certainly toned and appeared to be an able-bodied fighter, she bore no indication of belonging to Norsefire, or any other similar group. Her clothes weren't modern enough.

V looked back towards Evey, seeing as how she answered the woman before he could. "... Did you call us here?" V asked curiously, ready to draw one of his knives at the first sign of hostility.

((Sorry for the shortness. A tad distracted at the moment. ^^))

"No," she said simply, blowing out a weary breath. She was getting really tired of having to play welcoming committee, and after the thing with Archie, all she wanted to do was crawl into a bottle and stay there until she passed out.

"I've been lured here, same as you two. I'm Kara, and... sorry you're here, I guess." She nodded to the phone in the woman's hand. "If you want it to stop beeping, dial two-nine-one-oh. It's, like, the universal code or something."
