Wringing her hands together for a moment she spun around trying to take in the surrounding area. It wasn't exactly anyplace she thought she'd find Claire holed up, and even if it was - she wasn't familiar with the area enough to even know where to start.

Shifting her weight on her feet she glanced over toward Sylar shrugging, "It doesn't seem like his M.O. to be honest. He wanted Claire, so sending us to the middle of wherever doesn't exactly fit with Daddy Dearest's plans."

Chewing on her bottom lip she shook her head for a moment, "We should probably head away from this direction. If anyone came here they would've moved toward the buildings which I see smoke at least up ahead. From what? Who knows."

She sighed as he started to walk, the apparent leadership role she thought she had was being put to the back seat once more. It wasn't that bad she figured, at least he was doing something on his own. His legs were longer, but she had a powerful stride and she caught up with him soon enough.

Shaking her head as she walked beside him she tried to think out the plan, and why they had actually followed the advice of a mystery note that appeared seemingly from no one in particular. Though who were they to question it, with time travel and invisible people both of them knew anything was possible.

Elle reached into her pocket for her cell phone, but didn't find her own phone there. That alone was disconcerting, as instead she found a different model phone.

"Okay, please tell me our helicopter pilot didn't swap out your phone too? Because otherwise I have no clue how we're going to get back home."

This entire trip was getting to be more and more frustrating, and the sinking feeling she had in the pit of her stomach was growing the more they walked. Coming up over the hill Elle stopped as the largest structure she saw seemed to be a castle. She was pretty sure their pilot didn't have an ability, but then again he had managed to stealth away their phones and replace them with the other ones. There was something else at work here, and being tricked into this situation wasn't putting her mind at ease either.

"This just keeps getting weirder, I mean that's a castle right?" Shaking her head Elle stopped for a moment. "We've got to consider that wherever we've been dropped off, isn't where we thought we were going to. Whoever put us here wanted us either confused or off guard, and I for one am glad that I'm not going to be walking into a trap unarmed."

Smirking Elle watched him wield her ability. There was a slight touch of pride in her, knowing it was something that he'd claimed from her without actually killing her to take it. The fact that he was capable of so much more than senseless murder - something she had felt since they met - was more than just interesting.

Exhaling she moved across the grounds making her way toward the castle. Sylar's stride was longer, his height enabling him to move with a fluidity she hadn't quite noticed before. Still she kept up at his side, watching the grounds around them to ensure they weren't going to be ambushed.

It just didn't feel right though, there was nothing really to worry about it seemed.

"This... is a bit odd feeling. It's like no one cares that we're here."

Nodding Elle glanced across the grounds, more than just confused as to what the hell was going on. The closer they got to the castle the more wary of their situation Elle got. Shrugging she didn't even really care what they were walking into. It wasn't as if anyone could stop them.

Pulling the doors open with a yank, Elle pushed into the castle.

"Huh. As advertised on the outside, that's for sure."
