Sam's Arrival

He hadn't really thought about a Helicopter since he arrived in 1973, so he was more then a little surprised when Gene left him a ticket to ride on under his door. Through out the morning he flipped the ticket in his hands, looking at the lettering and then the borders, just playing with the strange paper for a few minutes before setting it aside. It was only after Sam finished his breakfast that he went to the helicopter anyway. The ride was uneventful, the scenery beautiful... Even more so when the castle came into view. It was around then that Sam realized that there was no actually helicopter pad, and that they seemed to be descending towards something of a large field.
Set somewhere in between the impending castle as well as the large forest, Sam was left alone, with his hands at his side and his blue eyes trained on the large mechanical wonder that was not rapidly leaving him behind. Great. He'd gone somewhere in the middle of nowhere, at what he had perceived to be Gene's request... And the damned man wasn't even around. With something of a grumble he pocketed his hands and began to trek towards the biggest landmark he could see...
That just happened to be that darn castle.
