After hearing about the helicopter wreck, Ivy just had to head over that way to take a look. She doubted she would be able to decipher much from the mechanical parts of the contraption but that wasn't what she wanted to look at. She fully intended to scour the wreck for any sign of a contaminant they might all have been exposed to during their individual trips over here. That was a branch of science she knew a lot about. She frowned and sighed softly to herself when she saw there was someone else already there mucking about with the mess. This would probably make her own task that much more difficult. It wasn't even that Lux or Gray fellow that she was sure would understand. Well, if it came down to it, she could just 'charm' the fellow into being no problem. "Hello." She greeted him friendly enough, trying to get some measure of him.

The Master had been leaning into what was left of the helicopter's cockpit, so engrossed in working his way methodically through the tangled remains of its electronics that he hadn't heard anyone approach. He jumped at the sound of a voice, and then tried automatically to hide the fact that he'd been startled by sliding smoothly out of the cockpit and turning to face the newcomer. A really rather lovely newcomer she was too - and she didn't look big enough to be whoever had already been tinkering with the helicopter and had shifted all those huge bits of metal. So he didn't apologise for messing with her stuff but instead straightened with an urbane smile, wiped his slightly oily hand on his handkerchief and then offered it to the woman.

"Hello there! Harold Saxon. May I help you?"

Ivy smiled and took the offered hand. She let just a little bit of attraction through her pheromones to make him pliable. "Ivy." She purred out. She slowly pulled her hand back to tuck some hair behind her ear. "I was just a bit curious. What might you be doing with all this mess?" She smiled and canted her hip just so to highlight her more attractive attributes. "It seems someone has been pretty busy over here. Was that you?"

Oh, she was quite something, wasn’t she? He couldn’t help but be impressed by her… physical attributes, and the greenish skin was definitely interesting. Not to mention that there was something about her that was oddly alluring.

Not human, certainly. To be frank, he was starting to wonder if there was anyone left here who was purely human!

He glanced round at the helicopter and the pile of scrap. “Some of it,” he replied modestly, without elaborating on the fact that his ‘some’ was a very tiny proportion of the whole. “A pleasure to meet you, Ivy. What brings you all the way out here in such atrocious weather?” He waved a hand towards the slush and snow outside.

She smiled and moved closer to the Master. "Well, I'm a scientist." She told him as she trailed her fingers lightly over his chest. "I wanted to test some hypothesis' I have about our incarceration here." Ivy looked up at him. This Saxon was not an unattractive man. That made her choice to use seduction to get aid a much easier one. "Unfortunately I am not as skilled with mechanics as I am with other things. Would you like to help me?" It could save her a lot of time searching through this mess if she had someone who knew what he was doing working for her.

Oooh, so lovely and a scientist too! And apparently not nearly as annoying as the Rani, which was a definite plus point in the Master’s view. The fingers on his chest were kind of nice; Lucy had been gone a long time and no-one else had expressed that sort of interest in him since. He smiled warmly, pushing out just a little of his own mental persuasiveness, because if that was the way she wanted to play it, he wanted some of the power to be his, and said genially, “I’d love to help, certainly. What was it in particular you wanted to test?”

While Ivy was immune to any form of chemical persuasion or poison, she did not have any mental defenses against the Master's abilities. He looked just a bit more interesting and attractive. Her fingers started to play with his shirt, running around the buttons. Even as she was affected by his charms, she believed he was succumbing to her own. She smiled. "I am looking for any microbial agents that might have been introduced during a trip over here. Either biological, chemical or mechanical." She had heard of the possibility of nanobots. "So I think if you," She purred. "could help me find a possible distribution device or at the very least the filtration system, I could check there." Those would be the most likely spots to look for anything that might have survived. She moved very close in his space. "Do you think you could help me with that?"

Truth be told, the Master was a little surprised by the strength of attraction he was feeling to Ivy, but since she definitely seemed interested in him it seemed easiest to play along and use her interest to benefit himself too. At least, that was what he told himself. Seduction wasn’t his usual weapon of choice, but it seemed sensible to go with what she had already started, and if he was enjoying it more than he normally would, then so what? It had been a very long time since he’d felt that little spark of attraction to anyone, and while Time Lords weren’t anywhere near as preoccupied with sex as humans, he couldn’t deny that playing along a little might be fun.

“Oh, I think I could help with that,” he said smoothly, wrapping an arm around her slim waist as she stepped in close to him, and lifting a curious eyebrow. “You think they made us inhale something on our way here ( ... )

Ivy certainly didn't mind him putting his arm around her. She held a plethora of poisons just a touch away from being released. So close quarters such as this really played to her power. She smiled when he said he could help. "Oh, it is one of my theories. I am somewhat familiar with inhaled toxins." That was an understatement. Inhaled poisons and drugs were her stock and trade, second only to her precious plants from which they were derived. "And with this helicopter here, it would be less... distressing to some if I were to check here first." Instead of inside someone's body. She looked to the machine, the wool of the coat warm against her skin. "So, do you have any idea where we might find what I'm looking for?"

(She could have been playing w/ buttons on his coat... that works 4 me.)

The revelation that this lady knew about inhaled toxins sparked off a little connection in his mind - oh, for goodness sake, not another individual with special-attraction pheremones! - but he didn't let it show, expect possibly with a momentary stiffening of his body against hers. It didn't really change anything, anyway. They both wanted the same thing, after all.

He smiled wryly. "Well, yes, I'm sure the other captives here would prefer you to poke about inside the helicopter than inside them," he murmured, thinking that he could however name a few individuals he certainly wouldn't mind her poking about inside.

Tearing his thoughts and his eyes away from Ivy - goodness, the attraction was strong! - he glanced across at the stripped-down cockpit. "Well, I'm not entirely sure that the parts you want to examine are still intact, but I can certainly have a look and see what I can find for you."

((OOC: Cool! Yep, that works!))

Her toxins weren't just in dealing with attraction, but having him dead at her feet hardly would be of use. Hence her decision to 'charm' the fellow. A fellow who was seeming attractive to her for some reason. Unlike the Master, Ivy had no reason to think there was an outside force enhancing her attraction to the man.

She smiled when he commented about her poking inside of people. "And the helicopter will certainly put up less of a fuss." She joked lightly. "At least I hope so."

She looked at the mess of the craft and nodded. "Yes, it is possible they could have been destroyed, but it certainly can't hurt to look." She stepped out of the wind and found a comfortable place to lean against. "I really do appreciate you helping me like this."

"Really, it's no hardship," the Master murmured, with a wry smile. "I'm just as eager as you are to learn anything I can about those bastards who stranded us here."

She looked gorgeous as she moved to lean against the wall and it took him a moment to tear his attention away and back to the helicopter. "Right, let's see what there is to be seen, then!" he declared cheerfully, climbing up into the cockpit and examining the mangled dashboard in more detail than he had before - first with his eyes and fingers and then with his laser screwdriver, for more intensive and accurate readings. Soon he was completely absorbed in his task, poking and prodding, and unaware of the fingers of his left hand regularly tapping out a distinctive four-beat rhythm as he worked.

She nodded and watched him get to work. Ivy stayed back, letting him do the work. After all he knew better than her where to look for the parts she was looking for. She did keep a sharp eye out for anything that looked familiar to her. However that wasn't much. After a while her own fingers started tapping out that same four beat he was. She shivered lightly and looked out over the landscape for a moment before turning her attention back to him. "Do you live in the castle?" She asked. The quiet had gotten to be a bit much.
