She hadn't been all that surprised when the helicopter took off, leaving her abandoned in some kind of creepy countryside retreat. It had been a crappy ride, anyways, so why wouldn't the pilot just up and leave her? He was a jackass who called her sweetheart, of course he'd just drop her off like she was a parcel that needed to be delivered. She should have been expecting it, and the fact that she hadn't was just another series of events in her crappy life. So instead of screaming and crying at the retreating helicopter, she just sucked up her emotions and pulled up her messenger bag higher on her shoulder, and turned to head off in the direction of the castle. There was a great deal for her to explore and investigate, especially on the inside of the castle walls. She hadn't ever seen anything quite like this before, and wasn't sure how to handle being there. There was a lot of things to touch, which meant a lot of things that she could break, and a lot of little keepsakes that she could try to pilfer for her own.

She wasn't all that concerned about finding out what was going on, or where she would need to stay, she just was honestly curious about sightseeing. Once it started to become dark, then she would take the time to sit and worry and feel sorry for herself. But being faced with such a new place was more exciting than Cassie was willing to admit, even to herself. She was actually like a girl her age for once, fingers running along the walls as she stalked up and down the hallways.

It was after an hour or two of looking around that she found a shield and sword on one of the walls, and curious to see if they were real, she slid off her messenger bag and set it aside, and went over to stand on her tiptoes and try to reach the items on the wall. She was short, even for someone her age, and so they were near impossible to reach. But she wasn't all that easily deterred, and stalked down the hallway to locate something she could stand upon. Finding only a small table, she drug it with her back over to the sword and shield on the wall, the loud scraping of the legs moving across the floor echoing throughout the hall. It only took a few short moments to shove the table up against the wall, and she climbed up upon it so she could take down the shield and sword to look at.

Unfortunately, they were attached to the wall pretty well, and she quickly had to resort to rapid tugging in order to lodge them free and into her hands. It sounded a lot easier than it actually was, however, and the wall decor was too stubborn to come free.

"Shit." She cursed loudly as she stumbled back, almost falling off the table. She looked all around to see if anyone was going to yell at her for the noise or the cursing, and seeing no one directly before her, she resumed her work.
