Juliet had been in this place for two weeks now, and she took note of the time gone by simply because it reminded her of another two week anniversary. It was the same amount of time she'd promised James when they'd first landed in the 70s, and while she had willingly stayed longer there, something about this place had her wishing there was a sub she could escape on. Preferably with him, because when compared to the Island, this place made what she came from look like a vacation.
It had been easy assimilating into DHARMA; she had a job to do even if it wasn't her given profession, she had a peaceful quiet life where she went to work, came home, made dinner and knew that when she woke up in the morning, it would be more of the same. Here, while it didn't seem as if her surroundings would suddenly change, there was no direction. No place to work, no friends other than James, and as a result she'd spent much of that two weeks inside his - no, their - home.
Now, it was time to come out.
The castle grounds were impressive, but it was inside the castle that intrigued her. Walking through the corridors, she explored different nooks and crannies, but mostly kept to herself. It was a curious thing though, how food, clothes, even basic items seemed to be in full supply as if someone were stocking from afar. She walked with a slight sense of unease, even as she tried to tell herself that there was nothing to be uneasy about. This was just another strange place, in a strange time.
