The Accidental Poisoning
I just have to share this story for it's irony:
Two days ago Evan got a lecture from his boss (Eben), who asked him to not joke around so much in the car on the way to work. Evan and Jordan had apparently been giving Angus a hard time about his "girlfriend" (whom is actually not his girlfriend but a girl he likes. incidentally, she also happens to be Eben's little sister). They were just joking around that they would steal her from him etc etc. Angus is only about 19 years old though and a little immature, and I guess it really bothered him and rather than approaching the guys about it, he went to Eben.
That night Evan, Luke, Debra, and I were discussing the scenario and it came up in conversation that maybe (since I'm the lunch lady), I could slip a little something into Angus' lunch the next day (which was this morning). Of course I never did.
Tonight however, Evan and Debra were over to look at our zoo pictures and suddenly Evan started laughing and was like "Katrina, do you remember how we were talking about poisoning Angus?"
"Yeah."
"Well today, i don't know what it was---i think it was nuts---anyway, he had a reaction and he was puking all the way home today!"
I couldn't think of what I had packed that would contain nuts, so Evan reminded me that my cookies do. So I did poison Angus. (Albeit accidentally).
