(no subject)
So, the last few days have been really awesome fun! I also haven't really been home enough to update so I'll get to it now I think.
Friday we decided to go see pirates 2 at the glen with some of Bon's friends, alex and rob were happy to come along too. We went to Lazy Moe's for dinner and I have to admit, I didn't believe the serving sizes were as big as the are. But boy, they're huge. So after eating the equivalent of a cow, we headed on to the glen where we had some dessert at pancakes (and said a quick hi to nikki) then saw the movie. I can see why lucas arts sued the buggery out of them for copyright infringement. A black Jamaican woman, come on.
That wasn't the highlight of the weekend though. On Saturday, I met up with Bon in the city at just after 2pm where we headed to JB on Bourke St to see Evermore play to promote their new album. We were lucky enough to get a spot right in front (but off to the left) of the stage. They played a few songs then had a signing for their album (which bon had bought about 35 minutes prior). We had to wait in line for ages but finally made it to the front where she got photos with two of the band members while the other one commented on my jacket saying it was the best he's ever seen. Go us. After that we had lunch and went to the state library for a bit before heading home and getting ready for work.
The work part was the usual, although afterwards we went to a party at grandview where alex started randomly (it seemed to us) making out with a girl that works at hoyts, while bon and I sat around in the chair that I had slept in the last party. In the end we had to drop Amy home because we were the only option for a lift she had. Upon arriving at Bon's, we sat around and decided to have some cornflakes.
All in all, I really entertaining weekend so far. All I have to look forwards to now, is work. Hoorah :p
