Reminds me of Die Hard II, where Bruce Willis stabs someone in the eye with an icicle. And yes ice cuts are nasty, I've got them before when defrosting the freezer. It up there with chipping my tooth when brushing my teeth in terms of silliest injury. Hope it stops bleeding and heals quick.

Man, anything under the fingernail sucks. I believe an old torture method (I think in Japan), involved prisoners having bamboo shoots pushed underneath the fingernails in order to make them talk.
