I remember reading a blog somewhere that renamed "Isobel" as "The Episode of Significant Glances." I think that's a pretty accurate title, lol. Damon and Elena tend to look at each other in a way that makes the rest of the world disappear.
There are so many wonderful Damon/Elena moments in this episode, but, for the meme, I wanted to point out the scene at the school. It's so great because, during that entire scene, both Damon and Elena all but completely ignore Stefan. In fact, after Stefan tells Damon that Alaric is supposed to arrange a meeting between Isobel and Elena, Damon doesn't look at Stefan, doesn't acknowledge that he's spoken. Damon just stares intently at Elena and tells her that she doesn't have to see Isobel if she doesn't want to--something that a boyfriend might say.

So maybe another good title for this episode would be "The Episode in Which Stefan Feels Insecure." If you pay close attention to the very first gif, you can see a little more Stefan brooding. Okay, okay, I'm done being mean now.
