I've Been Having a Cold....:/
I've had this cold for nearly a week now, but I think it's starting to wear off, slowly but surely. I'm still kinda sniffly, and coughing out the wads of mucus that pool in the back of my throat, but my throat's no longer sore, and I'm not sneezing anymore. :) I'm quite relieved about that, cuz when I sneeze, I SNEEZE. LOL.
My roommate let me borrow some Nyquil from her, and it works great....altho it doesn't get rid of my symptoms so much as it just makes me really loopy and tired. Last night after I'd taken some, I could barely move my mouth the right way in order to form sentences. Then I just sank into bed, pulled my Lightning McQueen blanket around my body, snuggled in for a minute or two, and then I was comatose. I gotta be careful with that Nyquil stuff, cuz it gives me weird dreams. The first night I took it, I ended up dreaming about this huge wild turkey with a polka - dotted breast doing a mating dance for me. Yeesh. o_O
I've been thinking about how funny it is that when you tell a little kid in the age range of about 4 to 8 that it's time for them to go to bed, their knee - jerk response is, "I don't wannaaaa! I'm not sleepy!" Cuz when someone tells ME that it's time to go to bed, my response is to glance heavenward and whisper, "Thank you!" LOL! :)
