Just Found One of Dory's Siblings.....:)
A few seconds ago, I went on Ebay and typed, "blue and yellow dolphin plush" into the Search engine on a total whim. Now, this phrase has a very, very, special and sacred meaning for me - it is the phrase that describes my favorite stuffed dolphin, Dory (I mean, of course, aside from "the one I absolutely CANNOT POSSIBLY sleep without" and "my best friend in the whole entire universe," ). Anyway, after some searching, I finally found a listing for THE EXACT SAME TYPE of dolphin plushie that Dory is!!! (albeit in near - mint condition, of course - Sorry, Dory!)

See? That's what she used to look like, when both of us were young......I was five and a half, and she must have been...IDK, only a few months old? LOL!
I feel I should explain why I did that search on Ebay in the first place....When and if I ever have a child of my own, I would love to have a " New Dory" on hand - a brand new, soft, clean one - for them, so they can have the same soft, lovable friend that I had as a child. Then again, I'm a bit leery of actually buying a "new" Dory.....first and foremost, the Real Dory might notice it before I have the chance to stash it away, and develop insecurities, and another thing: it would just be too creepy for me. From my perspective, there can only be ONE Dory. If something were to happen to her (God Forbid), no other stuffed dolphin could take her place. My psyche just doesn't feel up to wrapping itself around there being TWO Dorys.
But it just blows my mind that there's an exact replica of Dory on Ebay right now.....usually I very rarely see those. I'm still debating whether to tell her or not......hmmmmmm....
