Inspired by chapter 24 and the fact that at least 60% of what we talk about in sheepchan is how the boys in this series make terrible fashion choices, I have done an in-depth investigation of Yogi's clothing. This way I can accurately judge: Should he be allowed to dress himself?
FIRST OUTFIT. This one is not heinous. I can undterstand the rips! His attacks are all about thorns and such, so of course his clothing's going to rip. And why bother fixing something that's just going to get ruined again? The pants+boots thing makes sense too, because knowing Yogi he'd snag on a rock or one of his own vines and trip mid battle. So while the golfer pants may look silly, they are actually serving a purpose.
Verdict: Still allowed to dress himself.
...lol that pose. Anyway! This one's not that bad either. It's meant to be worn under the costume! People shouldn't be seeing the belly shirt and the... hair dealie... uh. BUT Mikanagi has a fetish for those kinds of shirts and he does trade in the elementary school girl hair clip for a regular rubber band later in the series. SO IT'S NOT HIS FAULT. And look! Look at how he's wearing cargo pants and sneakers. There may still be those stupid belts, but hey. Progress!
Verdict: At least it's not a one-shoulder halter, okay.
Ookay, so. The first one looks pretty bad! I AM NOT ARGUING THIS. But see, the second one is just the first with the collar turned down and better accessories! Yogi can rock the sweater vest when he wants to.
Verdict: He loses points but I'm sure the first one is just a fluke. A FLUKE, I SAY.
Winterwear! This is a uniform, he didn't pick it out. So no part of this outfit is his fault, including the fur tentacles.
Verdict: I bet the fur is fake, okay. And earmuffs are always cute :<
Look! Look at how almost normal this one is! Jeans and sneakers are much better than golfer pants and boots. Sure, the jacket has a picture of a Lisa Frank-esque bearkitty, but it's not so bad. Nothing's ripped, he's covered up, and he doesn't have those belts he likes so much. He's making progress! Maybe there's hope for him yet.
Verdict: This outfit got my hopes up just so that the next one could crush them.

I mean, I know he's not actually wearing a leather miniskirt over his pants but that's what it looks like, okay. And why do your formal clothes have rips in them, Yogi. I bet the sheep know how to sew! DO YOU JUST, LIKE. FORBID THEM FROM EVER FIXING YOUR CLOTHES BECAUSE YOU THINK IT LOOKS COOL? Also what is up with your tie, man. I respect that flowers are your trademark, but what is that. How does that even stay up.
