Character name: Flynn Rider (Alias, his real name is Eugene Fitzherbert)
Fandom: Tangled (Disney)
Timeline: Right after they get out of the cave using Rapunzel’s magic hair.
Age: I’m going to go with…19
~*Magical*~ abilities and strengths:
He’s awesome without magic and stuff, just saying.
Most of Flynn’s strengths come from his wit. He’s smart and quick, and knows how to deal with the real, harsh street life. He is able to get away with practically everything and when he’s not able to he knows how to hide from the consequences.
Granted, most of the people he deals with daily aren’t extremely smart… both soldiers and thugs are manipulated easily. When Mother Gothel is the one doing the planning he falls into her trap rather easily, so he’d probably have problems trying to deal with smarter people.
He’s also agile, able to jump his way around the ceilings of the city with little problem. That comes in handy when he has things to steal and people to avoid. He would also be able to pull out a fight with trained fighters. He’s also skilled with the frying pansword. He dislikes fighting though, and would rather flee the scene than fight face-to-face with anybody.
And last but not least, he’s a fast learner… so anything he doesn’t know how to do he’ll learn it in no time.
How would they use their abilities?: For good.
Wait- stealing isn’t good right? …Then, probably for a tiny itty bit of bad.
Appearance: As far as height and weight goes, Flynn is fairly average. He needs to be in good fit to be able to jump around the city and run like there’s no tomorrow when the soldiers are after him.
He has medium-length brown hair with a lock in front of his face, and stubble. He also has big hazel eyes. He’s good-looking, and he knows it. He’s spent years practicing the ~smoulder~ to make sure girls fall for him with just a look.
His nose is also really pretty no matter what you see in the wanted signs. They just can’t get his nose right.
Background/Personality: Oka, hum… Lets start from the beginning…
Flynn doesn’t know who his parents are. He was raised in an orphanage, back when he was still known as Eugene, until he was old enough to go on his own. It’s implied he was older (or at least smarter) than the rest of the kids of the orphanage since he explains how he used to read the adventures of Flynnagin Rider, who became kind of an inspiration to him.
He was poor, so he made a living out of stealing. He quickly became good at it. We don’t know much about what was he up to during those years apart from the stealing… until he makes a deal with the Stabbington brothers to steal the kingdom’s lost princess’ crown. He then deserts them, running away from the kingdom and into the forest as he tries to run away from Maximus, the general’s extremely well-trained horse.
As he runs away he stumbles upon Rapunzel’s tower and climbs it to try to hide inside, not knowing a certain long-haired blonde was currently a recluse in there. Scared, she knocks him out (twice), and hides him in the closet while she discusses with her mother. He’s passed out during all of this, and doesn’t wake up until he’s tied up into a chair by Rapunzel’s hair. Fail!flirting ensues when he realizes how pretty she is, Rapunzel was honestly not impressed.
She explains to him that what she wants is to see the ‘floating lights’ (which Flynn explains are actually glowing lanterns, sent to the sky to remember the lost princess), and convinces him to guide him in return of Flynn’s satchel, which had the crown inside.
He’s reluctant, and leads her to ‘the snuggly duckling’ where he hopes the ruffians and thugs will scare her back to the tower. She instantly charms them, and they even help them run away from the soldiers when they barge into the pub.
Flynn manages to fight both the soldiers and the Stabbington when they find him, but Maximus damages the dam and Rapunzel and Flynn end trapped inside of a cave with the water rising. They think this is the end, and Flynn even shares his real name… but then Rapunzel manages to save them with her glowing hair, helping Flynn find a way out.
When they are out, Flynn kind of freaks out because helo, glowing hair… aaand here’s the point I’m taking him from.

Have you read up on how the game works?:
Of course! The Plug-In is named the Flaming Ferret and Flynn could make money by mooching off, the posted assigned missions or offering his services (wow that last one sounded better in my head).
1st person sample:
[Meet the brightest smile you’ve probably ever seen on the guide. He’d know, he’s been practicing.]
Hm, so. Not that I don’t appreciate this ship saving me when the Earth exploded and all that. I do, honestly- I just…
[The young man rubs his forehead, then sighs and looks up again, smile back in place]
Never mind, I tend to babble sometimes. [He brushes a strand of hair out of his face] Is there at least anybody from my good ol’ earth around to whom I could talk to? The aliens I’ve met so far have all been really… “nice”, but not what you would call helpful. I would even take the frog right now…
3rd person sample:
Just a second. He only needed a second to make a difference- one of the soldiers could feel a cramp, hear the slightest noise, anything… the silliest thing could make them turn around and notice him.
They wouldn’t though, he was good at this. Being agile was half of the job. Having luck, the other… and lady fortune had seemed to have taken a liking on him.
A sneeze. He wasn’t worried tough, the man didn’t even turn his head…
“Bless you”
He hummed, even commenting about the cold before pulling the rope so the Stabbington would lift him out of sight. Sure enough, he was jumping on the roofs by the time the rest of the guard got time to react. This was actually getting kind of boring; there is no thrill on your job when you’re the best at it, which is precisely the reason he allows himself those little games, that little mocking of the guard. They’ll try harder that way.
He can feel the weight of the crown on his satchel, a promise of things to come. It’s sliding on his hip at every jump he takes, reassuring. When they are further away he turns, looking back.
“I could get used to a view like this” The castle stands, proud, the house of the king and the queen the kingdom so loves. He doesn’t have anything against them, honest. The kingdom is actually nice enough.
When you have enough money to get by, that’s it. And now he will.
“Yep, I'm used to it. Guys I want a castle.”
