It's fucking cold
Going for your first winter ride when it's 5 degrees out isn't such a good idea. Yes, I said FIVE! Well, okay, it was 5 at the end. At the beginning it was closer to zero. Don't worry your pretty little heads, I wore the appropriate clothing; although I wish I'd worn thicker socks. Anywho, I got angry (at myself) and frustrated (with myself) for being woefully out of shape and not having been on the bike in months. I made it back in one piece though, and I only went down once. Not terrifically bad for the first ride of the season.
Now, on to matters at hand. Happy Thanksgiving to all y'all. Myself, I'm thankful for friends that are like family; they accept me and all my flaws and quirks. And there are many. And thanks to all of you who allow me to vent and never call me stupid or whiney. Or Sally. I hate being called Sally.
