"Not again," Jaejoong groaned inwardly. "Why does this happen to me every single fuc-"
The hand crept upwards, touching and groping his thighs perversely in the crowded train. There was no way Jaejoong could stop the pervert and annihilate him without getting the attention of everyone in the train. He tried fervently to evade the person, sifting in and out of tiny gaps not filled with people, only to be met with bolder touches every single time.
Jaejoong cursed under his breath. If it weren't for the fact that it was so god-damned embarrassing for a teenage boy to get groped on the train, he would have crushed the pervert into tiny little pieces, grinded him against a pestle, before chopping him up into tinier pieces, probably adding a little spring onions and tomatoes, and frying him in a wok with kimchi and miso paste-
But anyway.
"Just two more stops, two more stops, two more stops," Jaejoong chanted repeatedly to himself, fists too white from clenching onto the handrail. He tried to ignore the grimy hand that was skirting through his blazer, closing his eyes and biting his lips so hard he thought they might bleed.
"You're just like a girl," the pervert crooned under his breath.
"Okay, that's it," Jaejoong snapped. No one calls him a girl and gets away with it.
When the train alighted, passer-bys could see a middle-aged salary man flying out of the carriage, expression frozen in a state of shock, and crashing into a pillar. It comes out in the news the next day, coupled with shocked and disbelieving statements from witnesses galore. The police are still investigating.
Jaejoong steps out of the train then, bright-eyes and all smiles, walking with a skip in his gait, fists shaking with satisfaction of getting his revenge.
--
"So," Changmin says while scanning through the day's newspaper, "I've heard something about a gay molester that was sent flying out of the train this morning."
He looks up at Jaejoong who had just entered the café near the school expectantly.
"Normally it would have been an impossible sight on the morning of the first day of school, but since I assume that you were in that train..."
"He called me a girl!" Jaejoong blurted defensively, arms gesturing furiously.
"And you deemed it necessary to cause a scene that would most probably send half of the school population talking about it the entire day."
"B-b-but!"
Changmin sighed.
Jaejoong pouted.
"Well," Changmin finally relents. "Let's just get to school okay?"
"Like as if you've forgotten that this happens to be my first time stepping into the school." Jaejoong rolled his eyes. "Oh my!" Jaejoong says sarcastically, throwing his arms up dramatically. "What has gotten to the ever great Shim Changmin? Can his big brain not take such lowly information in?"
Changmin doesn't hesitate to smack Jaejoong across the shoulders. Jaejoong cries in genuine pain.
Changmin smirks.
"No, of course I haven't, my dear great amazing cousin. But I can't show you around the school if we sit here the entire time, can I?"
"Oh."
"And the idiot finally gets it."
"Hey!" Jaejoong bursts out in indignation “Don't call me an idiot!"
"If that's what you want."
Jaejoong scowls and follows Changmin exiting the café. This was not how he planned to start the first day in his new school.
--
"Oh my! Who is that person beside Changmin?" A girl giggled furiously in the hallways.
"Is he a new student-"
"-He's so cute!-"
"-How dare he stand beside my Changmin?-"
"-He looks just like a girl!-"
Jaejoong twitches as he heard the passing comment, suppressing the temptation to murder the living daylights of whomever that said that.
"Hyung," Changmin hissed. "Don't. You. Dare. Make. A. Scene."
Jaejoong sighs and resigns his fate. He'll let the person go. Only this time.
Changmin drops Jaejoong off at the General Office, far away from the prying eyes of curious fan girls and fan boys, before sauntering off to his classroom, a platoon of girls following behind his footsteps.
"First day huh?" the administrator said sympathetically.
"Tell me about it," Jaejoong muttered.
"Well, here's your timetable, and classes will be held at room 105 unless stated. Just take a left turn from here and walk straight ahead - you won't miss it."
"Thanks," Jaejoong smiled appreciatively.
"Oh, and if you have any problems, feel free to drop by here," the administrator said with a smile. "I won't mind helping someone as pretty as you." She wriggled her eyebrows suggestively.
Jaejoong bolts out of the room before she could continue; traumatized.
--
"Alright class, settle down, settle down," the homeroom teacher, Ms. Park said tiredly. "Well, as you know, well most probably the entire school population knows about this, but it's my duty as a homeroom teacher to announce it anyway so - we have a new student joining us today."
Jaejoong could hear girls breaking out into excited giggles while standing in the front, and some of the guys angry stares as well.
"So here we have - Kim Jaejoong." Ms. Park gestured, eyes boring into Jaejoong's, signaling him to proceed with his introduction.
Jaejoong cleared his throat.
"Hello everyone. I'm Kim Jaejoong. I hope we get along."
"Omo! He's so cute and handsome!" Jaejoong could hear a girl squeak out. He sighed inwardly.
"Very nice Jaejoong," Ms. Park said sarcastically. "Would you take a seat beside Changmin."
Jaejoong cheered at his luck. Better having to sit beside his annoying cousin than a total stranger.
"So," Changmin began, smirking. "Got hit on by the school's administrator huh."
"Shut up," Jaejoong glared. "You knew that was going to happen!" He points an accusing finger at Changmin, who was by then chuckling at Jaejoong's demise.
"Whatever," Changmin waved it off, much to Jaejoong's protest. "Anyway, meet Kim Junsu," he points to the smiling cherub faced boy sitting behind him. "He's nice, and has more common sense than most of the idiots here."
Junsu giggles at Changmin's remark, before extending a hand out to Jaejoong. "Nice to meet you," he beamed.
Jaejoong thinks Junsu's smile could probably light up the entire Tokyo Dome, but refrains from telling him so. Instead, he grabs Junsu's hand and returns the smile.
"I've heard a lot of things about you," Junsu said.
"Good things, I hope," Jaejoong glares at Changmin, who puts on an innocent face.
"Well..." Junsu trails off sheepishly, scratching his hair in embarrassment.
"Changmin..." Jaejoong growls.
"I didn't tell him much! I swear!" Changmin flails wildly, eyes widening in shock.
"Like I'd believe you."
"Well, I did tell him about the time where you fell in the pond, or when you tripped over my leg and landed on the cake but..."
"Shim Changmin!" Jaejoong hissed furiously.
"Jaejoong! Changmin! Junsu! I would like to remind you that this is a classroom, not some matchmaking session," the teacher growls, before returning to the board.
Burst of giggles were heard from the front row.
The front row consisted of overdressed girls and guys.
Jaejoong scowled.
Changmin sighed.
Junsu joins in with the chorus of giggles.
--
"Oh my god!" Jaejoong yells as he desperately tries to escape from the throng of fan girls chasing after them.
"What the hell is going on?!" Junsu squeaks.
Changmin fights the urge to roll his eyes. "Well, I guess the massive population of girls in this school couldn't stand the combined power of the three of us, and decided to proceed to stalking and raiding our personal space."
"This school is insane," Jaejoong spits.
"Tell me about I-"
Changmin remark was cut off when a girl had gotten precariously close to ripping off his blazer. He promptly shuts up and wills his legs to run faster. Fuck, he wasn't the captain of the track team so that he could use his legs to run away from fan girls; he seethes.
"Oh my god sun! We're cornered!" Junsu wails.
Changmin resists the urge to correct Junsu that there was no 'sun' in 'god', but decides that this was probably not the time to do so.
"Think," Changmin desperately wills his brain. "You're not called a genius for nothing!"
Then, he spots the light piercing through the darkness that was known as fan girls.
"The rooftop!" he yells, sprinting across the corridor and yanking the door open. Jaejoong and Junsu immediately follow without a single word.
After Changmin locks the door and declares them safe, they sink downwards to the ground, catching their breath.
Yes, Jaejoong thinks. This was not how he expected his first day of school to be like.
--
"Yo!" Yoochun shoots his best friend, Yunho, a grin. "Nice shirt you're wearing today. I like the blue."
"Yoochun." Yunho sighs tiredly. "I'm wearing a green shirt."
"I totally knew that."
"So you did."
"Yeah, and I heard the canteen's selling caramel pudding today."
"They are?" Yunho lets out a squeak of excitement.
"I mean-" he clears his throat awkwardly. "They are?"
"Yeah, so why not you get your ass out of that seat and sort out the paperwork another time?"
Yunho glares forlornly at the stack of paperwork in front of him. Who said being the Student Council President was easy?
"Yoochun did," his subconsciously helpfully replies. Yunho determinedly ignores it.
He stares at the pile of unfinished work, fighting between his duties and caramel pudding.
It only takes five seconds.
"Okay," Yunho gets up. "Let's go."
Yoochun laughs. Only he knows that the perfect and charming Student Council President was so obsessed over caramel pudding. Heechul, the school's greatest gossip monger, would have a field day if he finds out. Yunho's never-dying group of supporters would do, he supposed.
Yunho eyes twinkle in delight. Suddenly, it was as if he was frolicking across the school hallways to the canteen - grass growing and flower springing with every step he took, and probably throw in a smiling sun and white puffy clouds and some BGM music as well-
But then, a frantic-looking student decides to barge in and wave his arms dramatically at Yunho.
"President, sir," the boy says anxiously. "It is reported that there are students who have sneaked to the rooftop."
Yoochun frowns.
Yunho groans inwardly.
"Very well," Yunho resignedly says. "I'll go look into it."
After waving the boy off, Yunho storms (in a very princely way, of course) and makes his way to the rooftop.
Whoever that dared to stop him from having his beloved caramel pudding - Yunho decides - was going to pay.
