He doesn't entirely see how that would have made it worse or better. Though maybe if he had he wouldn't have thrown the minor fit that he did when he woke up with her. If all he had was the moral fiber of half the men around him back then he probably would have just slept with her right off the bat and she probably wouldn't even have known there was anything wrong with him at the time because we were still newlyweds and that was a rather normal occurrence--AND HE DID NOT JUST SAY THAT OUT LOUD TO HIS OWN SON!!!
