At the very least Okita doesn't seem intent on tracking him down or sending bullets through his window... that at least is a relief. It was just an unfortunate chance meeting. He hopes that Yukishirou-dono is safe with that man right now... though he doubts Okita would hurt a little old man... Perhaps he should request that he stay here again... it would... make him feel more comfortable on some level... Some level...
How that man can forgive him he will never know... but that seems to be a pattern as well. Either he recieves forgiveness from people who by all rights should want his death, or he has death threats from people he doesn't even know.
