Um... never mind, please ignore my previous comment. Obviously, my mind was not on what I was reading before. I just read it again, to see where my confusion happened, and... I realized where my confusion happened, and it was mine, not yours. *facepalm* Very sorry about that.

(The Montrose/Darrieux thing is still true, though. I'm just an idiot.)

How would Amanda recognize Daisy? Wouldn't Daisy look different to everyone as a Grim Reaper? At the very least, she would have changed more than a bit.

Daisy's been a Grim Reaper since long before she first met Amanda. So whatever Daisy looks like to mortals, she looks the same as she did when Amanda knew her. (Daisy died in the 30s, but she and Amanda were terrorizing NYC in the 70s.)
