Question for the Readers

Dec 05, 2007 18:55

Obviously, my plan to "catch up" on the latest Crossover News went awry this summer. The more effort I put into it, the further behind I got, and eventually I gave up; I have too much RL going on to spend all my free time on this.

I'm mulling over two options at the moment for what to do with this journal, and shall choose one of them by the end of December. Your advice would be much appreciated.

(1) If there are any of you-- preferably a team of you-- who would like to take this journal over, I would gladly step down and let you do as you please with it.

Or-- (2) I'll cut back the watchlist and start over with January of 2008, posting once a week as before.

By cut back, I mean that I will no longer read single-fandom communities, newsletters, personal journals, or even challenge comms in the hopes of tripping over crossovers; you have no idea how quickly that made the watchlist for this journal balloon out to impossible lengths. Instead, I'd trim it to watch only specifically crossover-themed comms, and leave it up to the lot of you to report anything else to me. Does that sound like a reasonable compromise?

Thanks in advance for the advice!
