Wow, the Yankees brought Jesus to them. We now have the power of Christ. It is funny, most of my friends and even my girlfriend roots for the Red Sox. Now that Johnny is a Yankee I am sure that my life is in jeoporady. I want to be a dick and buy the Damon jersey just to wear it around campus, but I think I might get stabbed. Still, I don't understand all this hoopla (that right, I used the word hoopla) about him being a traitor. Look at the other name that is in Fenway Park's center field. John Hancock, last time I checked he was a traitor too. He commited the act of treason and yet, it worked out for the greater good. So maybe the act of treason by Johnny will too? He did what he wanted to do. You can't get mad at a person for making a decision that is better for them. I mean really, could you get mad at your best friend everytime he or she did something that you did not approve of? You could, but then you are not letting live their life they way that they want. But Red Sox fans are missing the big picture. One, Johnny is getting up there in age, two, his numbers last season were not that great, and three, the center fielder they will get will probably be younger, faster and stronger. So in the end didn't Boston get the better deal? A younger, faster and stronger player.... I would rather have that. But still, I am satisfied, we tempted Christ and he gave in... if only the bible would tell this tale, then I could be truly happy. The only joy I get out of the deal is having that evil smile on my face knowing we took the beloved Damon away from Bean-Town!
