[Daniel] Day 20: Debriefing (open tag)

Daniel waited quietly, going over the notes in front of him, while waiting for everyone to have some breakfast and get on the same page. The notes were simply a way to organize his thoughts and a list of questions he wanted to ask, systems that needed to be investigated, observations that he'd made about the prisoners and the facility.

She'd been sitting on the counter quietly watching May pull out more eggs for breakfast as she listened to the conversation going on around her.

And then she was wet.

"Son of a bitch!" she yelled, putting down her water logged coffe mug and sliding off the counter leaving a puddle in her wake. For a moment she just stood dripping and observing, her brain trying to process a lot of new information at once.

She went over and got a tea towel. She patted dry her face then started to dry her hair.

Tara of course. Aiden resisted the urge to grumble aloud.

"I'm all for putting Sabrina in a rubber padded room." She looked around at everything everybody was going through. She knew she was lucky, last time she'd had a run in with Tara's magic she ended up with a blow to the head. "For she kills someone."

Then she went for the medical supplies. No medical supply cabniet worth it's salt, even one run by kindnapping crazies, was without extra scrubs. She pulled out a pair and started to undress. She wasn't the least bit self-concious changing in a room with men, shared a locker room with them for years. She couldn't help but think of her partner's smirk. Their playful banter. And she smiled for a moment. But even happy memories made her heart hurt. So she pouted. She didn't have anything of his. She had a picture of her family, her best friend's FBI t-shirt, but nothing of her partner's to remind her of him. Just faded memories and thought about what could of been.

She pulled on the scrubs, wiping herself with the towel as she went. The starched material itched her skin but at least they were dry. She pulled out another pair and tossed them at Faith, who was still standing around naked.

Then she washed her hands and took over where May had left off making breakfast.

Just for future note, Aiden wouldn't have found any drugs or clothes/scrubs in the kitchen.

There is a map of the facility here and scrubs would be in the bedrooms, the locker room and storage area. Medicines are in the exam room(s) and the lab.

Sorry I missed the reference to Aiden tossing Faith scrubs, which would have worked, 'cause Aiden would have had to leave the kitchen to get them and then come back, but I'd written up my Daniel post and posted it before I re-read.

*shrug*

Ultimately, it all works out, 'cause Faith isn't standing around naked anymore.
