"No. Not bout myself. Blank page, that. But I have medical knowledge, a clever blue torch I seem to know how to use, knowledge of alien languages, and technology... when somethin' triggers it." The Doctor crossed his arms and grinned.
He wanted to add he smart, sassy, and sexy young woman willing to put up with him, but that might tick off said young woman, and imply he was hard to put up with.
"The videos and pictures of us travellin' only indicated one you." Rose took hold of one of the Doctor's elbows and wriggled her hand into the crook. "Sorry, you weren't in 'em." She looked at Claude, feeling a bit guilty she couldn't be more helpful. "Jack was, but not you. Maybe we came here to visit you. Drop in on family and all that."
The Doctor actually felt as if he'd taken a physical blow. He didn't know why, and he mentally cursed in six different languages. He didn't have a family. Not anymore. He was almost certain of it. That raw and gaping wound he'd felt in his mind seemed to roar open and threaten to swallow him. He forced it down, concentrating on the feel of Rose's hand on his arm, her warmth next to him. She grounded him.
She was looking at him now, worried and a bit afraid.
//What is it?// Her voice in his head threatened to make it worse.
//Impression. Not a real memory, but a reaction.// He returned. A wave of reassurance and warmth enveloped him.
He looked at his double. A quick blood test would tell if they were related... or cloned. No, he couldn't be cloned. Why was that? Huh.
"Dunno, the longer hair isn't too bad." Rose was grinning at his double. "Kinda rakish. The beard would take some gettin' used to."
The Doctor suddenly glared at his double. She wasn't flirting, was she? He was much better looking than the floppy haired git.
Rose looked at him sidelong and grinned that grin with the tongue. She was havin' him on. The cheek.
"Well, we are a sorry bunch, then, aren't we?" Claude's eyebrows rose towards his hairline as he looked back at Rose, studying her with no small amount of suspicion. "And I get the distinct feeling you're putting me on about my hair."
Of course she had to be, Claude knew full well that his hair looked somewhat akin to a bird's nest - minus the birds, of course.
Claude lifted his head to smell the scent that were drifting out the door as he finally extended his hand to no one in particular. "Society indicates I should at least make some sort of..." He paused, waving the hand, "Better introduction before we continuing conversing. I am, for the moment, Pigeon."
He continued to hold hand out, not caring that it was probably rude since no one had taken it yet. He was a rude type of guy.
((OOC: Kindly don't kill my brain with nice thoughts like that! D: *apperantly it makes me post without a name in the subject.*))
"Rose Tyler." Rose let go the Doctor's arm and shook Pigeon's hand. "This is the Doctor. I call him Mad Chris, since Doctor isn't a proper name, and plain ol' Chris was taken."
"Now we're gettin' personal." The Doctor huffed.
"'S your brother, silly. Alien or not, bet you were always competitive." Rose tilted her head and looked at Pigeon. "Oh, it could use a good combing, but I could get used to the length. Kinda fluffy."
Yeah, something to ruffle or run fingers through. Not that Chris's short hair was bad at all. It was darker though. Most likely it got lighter as hit grew from sun bleaching.

"...I suppose I should resent my hair being called fluffy." Pigeon drew his hand back from the shake, arms coming up, crossing over his chest as her resisted the urge to pull at his hair.
"It's such a girl-like word. Makes me think of kittens." He made another awful face at Mad Chris as hesaid this, but this one was clearly in reference to the word 'fluffy.'
