She was getting very frustrated. Something was preventing her from fully connecting with the Doctor. She could sense both him and Rose. They were very close on the cosmic scale. But higher connections were not working.
She had enough power for some systems now. Translation was one of the top priorities, as communication when stranded was imperative. The Tardis fully charged her translation circuit. She was subconsciously connected to anyone who had been on board, and the translation would be automatic. If someone were in one hundred yards of her, they would also pick up on the subtle signal.
She continued to collect power, and to try to re-establish the higher link to her pilot and his companion.
(OOC: wherever they are, anyone who had been aboard the Tardis now understands and speaks a vast array of languages.)
