[AU!Scott] Medical Curiosities
Who: AU!Scott, AU!Dr. Janet Frasier, Sam Winchester, DCI Gene Hunt

Scott was more than a little annoyed with Dr. Frasier. She'd made him wait for hours before he could examine the two unique specimens in the infirmary. They should have been stable within an hour after being admitted. Either the woman was toying with him, drowning in work, or taking her sweet time.
Upon entering the infirmary Scott gave the petite doctor a cursory nod. "They're in the back," she stated, canting her head in that direction. "Simmons will bring the samples you requested."
"Good," Scott replied, already heading toward the private room at the rear of the infirmary.
He stopped short in the doorway. A shimmering force field contained the younger of the two sleeping men. (Samuel Winchester,) Scott recalled from the report, as well as his display of pyrokinesis. Frasier could deaden most psychics' abilities with drugs. The fact that she'd requested a containment field proved how little she understood Winchester's abilities.
"Dr. Hayden," a male voice said. Scott turned to find a nurse carrying a small plastic box. "The samples."
"Yes, thanks," Scott said as he accepted it. He didn't need to look inside to know that the box contained two vials of each man's blood.
The nurse left, and Scott moved to the older man's bedside. What Frasier had discovered about Mr. Hunt shouldn't be possible. Scott fished his sphere from his pocket to see what he could learn.
The sphere's blue glow and soft hum filled the small room. With the metal ball magnifying his abilities, Scott mentally examined the Brit's body. Although he couldn't simulate the test Frasier had run, he did find physiological cues that supported her finding: Hunt had a baseline blood alcohol level of 0.15. And his liver was perfectly healthy!
Shaking his head in amazement, Scott turned his attention to Winchester. Unsurprisingly the containment field blocked his psionics. Frowning, Scott dropped his connection with his sphere. He'd have to get Frasier to turn the barrier off for a few minutes.
