ooc: Hey, guys, sorry about the delay. Gonna pickup where we left off. Everyone's comments were fine except I kinda need the Demon here. Ash's actions do give me a cool visual I can use, though.
Pain wasn't surprising to the Demon. He was used to pain, both giving and receiving. What was surprising was the temerity and audacity with which the idiot Ash showed when he grabbed the Demon by the balls and flung him through the Vortex. He didn't expect that, and it did hurt. Ok, and then there was the fact that he was in the Vortex at all. That was a surprise and a nusiance. He had known of Ash's former accomplishments, but chalked them up to luck. Certainly, he had more luck than sense. However, maybe he had a little more balls than The Demon had given him credit for. One thing The Demon didn't like was underestimating his opponent. He didn't like when he did that, and never made the same mistake twice. That being said, there was the problem of this Vortex. If he didn't do something soon, he'd go straight back to where he came from. Not a real problem, except that he'd miss the opportunity he set up to get rid of the witch. Wasn't ready to give up on that just yet. So, as the Vortex sucked him in, he just grabbed onto a minor demon heading the other way and rode it back.
He watched as May flung a web at Ash and grabbed him before he could be sucked into the Vortex himself. "Damn Shame she's so fast." The Demon thought to himself. Then he watched as Molly began to quickly rebuild Tara's foundation. She was taking a beating to do it, too. Faith and River were trying their best to keep the tide at bay, but with the full Vortex open, too many could come in at once. The Demon smiled; the game was his and he knew it. He arrived back in the kitchen. He took the tail of the demon he had ridden in on and flung it at Molly and Faith. "Good try, Ash, but not good enough." He grabbed another demon and flung it straight at May, trying to knock her off balance so Ash would be flung into the Vortex. "Now, to finish what I started here. too bad your pretty picture didn't work. Nice drawing though, you'da been a better artist than you ever were a witch." Tara was hardly moving. she was laying on the ground staring at the image she had created. He reached for the sharp claw of a demon and swooped down to slice her across the throat. Just at that moment, the picture began to move.
