I've heard the term 'vampire' echoed around the City, along with quite a few misconceptions. From the standpoint of a human, I can understand how the thought of blood-consuming creatures can be unsettling, frightening, really, yet we shouldn't be so quick to judge someone by what they are. You've probably heard this sort of rant before but...

Victoria-san qualifications should be based on her experience and ability, just like Sagara-san and the rest of the candidates. If the candidates wish to look after the City and protect all of us, then that's what really should matter.

By my words, it should be obvious that I really must disagree with you, Sister. I can't say the vampires from our worlds are the same, but I do know however that anyone can be a monster - human, vampire, alien, or otherwise. A human can kill as easily with a gun as a vampire can kill someone by taking their blood, and you have to remember some vampires have moral codes against this. In the end, it's morality against mortality.

I know vampires can be dangerous and frightening, I mean I was once attacked by a one when I was child. Yet, I would be proud to call a vampire my friend as long as I know in my hear that they he or she was truly a good person.

...It was a vampire that rescued me as a child, anyways.
