HARRY POTTER
Oh wow, that's mighty hard. Eeep, I love a lot of HP people but I have to say he is my favorite:
Albus Percival Wulfric Brian F***ing Dumbledore. Why? Because he's, like, the greatest wizard in the history of wizardry since Merlin. And Gandalf. I wept the first time, and I still weep every time, I read his death. The Phoenix Lament was one of the most beautiful chapters in HBP, when the characters left behind were discussing Dumbly's life, his plans for Hogwarts, and Harry. I loved the last line too, however sappy it was:
And he knew, without knowing how he knew it, that the phoenix had gone, had left Hogwarts for good, just as Dumbledore had left the school, had left the world ... had left Harry.
Not to mention that Dumbledore is crafty and wily and probably better at predicting things that a true Seer. He's the shadow king, the main manipulator of the whole Potter game. He's weird in the right way and not the typical innocent wise old man. I was annoyed at him for ignoring Harry the larger part of OotP - he thinks too high of his capabilities at times. But he's always there for Harry, and I love him for that.
And did I mention Gellert/Albus is one of my closet OTPs? Yeah. If JK decides to publish The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore, I'll... scream. In ecstasy.

SWITZERLAND. Because the gun-toting is soooo sexy. And it's one of the safest punchlines if ever you're stumped. Uhmm... he's not really as sexy in original art - more cute actually :D
Why do I like Vash? Uh, I don't really know... Maybe it's sort of the big brother thing he has with Liechtenstein? And how tsuntsun he is when it comes to Austria? I don't really pair him much with anybody, because he's perfect as he is. Awww... sappy.

Skandar, why so cute~ He deserves two pictures, I'm so sorry. Well, well, actors aside, Edmund has been my favorite since before the movie, before Skandar. For me, Ed's the most fleshed-out, flawed, and real character among the four of them siblings. He's a traitor - he gave his siblings away for some Turkish Delight, yet he redeemed himself in the end. He learned the lesson really well and even saw Aslan before Peter and Susan in Prince Caspian. A delightful little bastard who likes playing detective, despite the arguments with Caspian, he's essential in the Dawn Treader too.
If I had another choice, it would be the Calormen Emeth in The Last Battle. His story and faith is something I look up to.
