Reason's why my parents do not believe in christianity:
1)The Bible is made up of all eyewitness accounts and cannot be valid
2)Religion is a man-made thing
3)If there is one right religion then what happens to those who do not know it?
4)Jesus, Muhammad,Buddah, and other assortments of gods are all branches of God
Well from these sentences you can probably infer that i had a talk with my non-christian parents about God, Jesus, and why Christianity or better yet my relationship with God is so important. I tried defending my point of view and desperately tried to tell them the truth. Or at least what i make of it.
And despite how it ended, there were no akward feelings and i got to say what i wanted to say. I just hope i got them to think....I guess the important thing is that they understand where i come from.
And the thing is they came up with questions that i still haven't answered myself. But this is all good. I know that these will be questions God will be challenging me with and will be pathways for me to get my parents to see about God.
But either way its tough. Seeing people you love not knowing or accepting something you hold so dear and someone who has saved you.
I am super tired from moving out. I packed all my stuff in 2 hours! ha! beat that people, who kept rolling their eyes when i said i was going to leave today and i haven't even packed yet!!!!
I drove on the freeway for the first time. Man what a piece of cake!! Now i just have to do it without my dad there....
Anyways i'm back in torrance and i have so much to unpack... well i got the whole summer to do that i guess.
and since i'm kinda tired and am in sort of a downer mood here's something that will definelty cheer me up for picture of the moment:
of course this joy would not compare to the joy i would feel if i got the chance to see a certain someone and knew she was feeling a lot better on the plane to Germany....
