you can download a program called "pdf creator" free from the internet which will allow you to print pdfs so you can save patterns from online. Enjoy!

OMG where did you buy that wooden thing that's stretching the fabric out? I need one!

That's a scroll frame. I got it at either Michael's or Hobby Lobby. You can get them just about anywhere that carries a decent selection of stitching stuff and in several sizes (I have 9" and 24" wide frames). They can be pricey, but I think they are so much better than hoops for large projects.

I also have a set of q-snaps that I use for the really big stuff that's too wide even for the 24" frame.

www.cutepdf.com rocks. It's free and tiny so it won't mess up your computer.

Hello and welcome!

I also downloaded and printed that "America" piece a few years ago, but haven't had the chance to start it yet. You've inspired me to make it the next piece I do after my "Phantom" is complete!

Lovin' the kitties! They're darling!

Lovely work on everything! We love progress pics, so keep 'em coming!

Thanks!

One thing I really like about the America pattern is each state is a piece unto itself. I complete one and feel I've actually finished something, even though I have 39 and then some to go.

I must confess, my main reason for posting was to keep myself from slacking off. I can't post updates if I haven't updated, right? :)
