SPOILERS: Takes a sharp turn into a non-canon universe but assumes anything in the first 5 seasons of CSI and SVU is fair game on an entirely selective basis (I ignore some stuff but make use of other stuff as I want to!)
SUMMARY: Sometimes, losing everything that you thought was important can be the trigger for gaining so much more...
