Author's Notes: The title is from "Snow is Gone" by Josh Ritter. I also use a line from Bruce Cockburn's song "Lovers in a Dangerous Time." Takes place post-"Quarantine," pre-"Midway" This will probably be the last story in my "Worlds Collide" series. I haven't been inspired for future adventures with these two, and it's taken me ages to write down this idea. So... feralcrj, hope six is enough! :D With this story, the Worlds Collide Sam/Olivia series is over 50,000 words! A whole novella! :D The story takes place in SGA Season 4, since I have no idea what's going to happen next year (blissfully ignorant) and Olivia left SVU not long after the events in episode 9x12. The other stories in this series are:

Summary: Olivia finds she is having a hard time fitting in on Atlantis. When going an off-world diplomatic mission turns into a disaster, she finds herself questioning whether she made the right decision to leave Earth.
